During their meeting on Friday, Gendy said she followed up the Egyptian expats’ interest in the charity’s efforts and activities.

The minister pointed out to the measures taken by several ministries and authorities over the past period to provide special advantages for Egyptians abroad, including in the fields of housing, aviation, investment, finance and education.

She highlighted the initiatives launched by her ministry for Egyptians living abroad such as “Speak Arabic”. She also talked about the “Survival Boats” presidential initiative meant to combat illegal migration.
