CAIRO – Egyptian Emigration Minister Soha Gendi asserted that the new republic represents the golden era for Egyptian women who assume unprecedented posts.
She said Egypt is the first country in the world to launch a strategy for empowering women.
She made the remarks on Sunday during the second Empower Her Art Forum (EHAF) at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.
She lauded the forum for shedding light on the role of the Egyptian state to support and empower women.
The 2nd edition of the forum witnessed the participation of over 100 artists from 40 states worldwide, including 12 countries.
