Egypt’s Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Soha Gendi Saturday hailed the patriotism of Egyptian investors living abroad and their keenness on pumping investments in their homeland.
The minister made the remarks within the framework of a campaign launched by the Ministry of Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs under the theme “Egyptian Investors Abroad Answer: Why We Invest in Egypt ?”.
Gendi highlighted the importance of promoting for the Egyptian state’s efforts to stimulate investments in Egypt, in line with a strategy adopted by the Emigration Ministry to communicate with investors abroad.
The campaign aims to highlight promising investment opportunities in the Egyptian market as well as measures taken to remove obstacles facing investors and improve investment climate.
The campaign includes video clips of a number of Egyptian experts abroad while talking about investment in Egypt.
The campaign is meant to shed light on successful experiments of Egyptian investors and businessmen abroad.
Meanwhile, Egyptian investor Sameh El Masry, the CEO of TAMAS Group in the UAE, said Egypt has a large consumer market as well as distinguished investment opportunities.
Masry asserted keenness on pumping investments in Egypt in new and distinguished domains in order to create more job opportunities for youth and lure larger number of investors.
