CAIRO – Egyptian Emigration Minister Nabila Makram underlined the importance of rallying government efforts to meet the needs of Egyptian expats.

She lauded the overall development of Egypt Post, highlighting its role in serving Egyptian expats.

She made the remarks during a meeting with Board Chairman of Egypt Post Sherif Farouq on means of helping Egyptian expats to further benefit from Egypt Post services, especially sending remittances to their families as well as documents or medicine.

Makram added that a large number of Egyptian expats can benefit from the services offered by Egypt Post.

For his part, Farouq hailed the efforts exerted by Markram to offer all needed support for Egyptian expats.

He added that Egypt Post became one of the government arms for serving Egyptian expats in most world countries, especially the Gulf States.

He noted that Egypt Post signed several agreements with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE and Jordan.
