CAIRO – Egypt’s Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Soha Gendy said the ministries of emigration and communications and information technology are collaborating to launch a new mobile application dedicated to Egyptian expatriates.
The new app, which seeks furthering communication with Egyptians abroad, will display all incentives, initiatives and products targeting them, including the new US dollar pensions certificates, which is called Maash Bokra or “Tomorrow’s Pension”.
This came in videos published by the Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) about its meeting with Gendi on strategies of the emigration ministry, its various communication mechanisms to reach out to Egyptians abroad, as well as key services and initiatives launched by it.
The “Tomorrow’s Pension” certificates have been launched following requests by Egyptian expats, the minister said, adding that they are available in maturities of between five and 15 years for individuals aged between 18 and 59.
Targeted customers can purchase them starting at a value of $500, and they can also make additional payments to a minimum of $50 and a maximum of $10,000 annually, the minister noted.
