EL ARISH, Egypt – El Arish International Airport received a UAE relief plane to the Gaza Strip.
A well-placed source at the airport said on Friday that the plane carried 90 tons of food and relief aid to the Strip.
The aid is provided by the Red Crescent Society of the United Arab Emirates.
A reliable source at El Arish Airport said the shipment was unloaded and transported to the logistical warehouses in the city of El-Arish, in preparation for its entry into the Gaza Strip, in coordination between the Egyptian Red Crescent, the Palestinian Red Crescent and the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).
