EL ARISH- Two planes carrying 43 tonnes of humanitarian aid for the Gaza Strip landed on Monday at El Arish airport.
A source at the airport said the first plane arrived from Jordan with 21 tonnes of medical assistance on board while the second plane came from the United Arab Emirates carrying 22 tons of relief.
The source added the planes will be unloaded at the airport storage area before loading them on trucks heading to the Palestinian enclave.
The aid will be delivered to Gaza in coordination between the Egyptian Red Crescent and its Palestinian counterpart, said the source.
