CAIRO – Egypt’s Minister of Transport Kamel el Wazir has chaired the ministry’s first meeting at its headquarters in the New Administrative Capital when he met with chairman of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges Hossam el Din Mostafa to follow up on the status of some projects including roads, bridges and River Nile axes.
The meeting also touched on the roads being implemented nationwide as part of the Decent Life Initiative, the Ministry of Transport said in a statement Friday.
Wazir directed the officials concerned to meet high quality standards in implementing projects and completing them on time, especially in light of their importance in facilitating the movement of citizens throughout the country.
This shall go in line with the great progress experienced by the transport sector in Egypt, including the sector of road and bridges, during President Abdel Fattah Sisi’s era, the statement added.
