Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Sherif Fathy, inaugurated the Egyptian pavilion at the 32nd edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM 2025), held in Dubai from April 28 to May 1.
In his opening remarks, Minister Fathy underlined the significance of Egypt’s participation at ATM 2025, describing the exhibition as “an invaluable opportunity to deepen partnerships and strengthen bilateral cooperation in tourism.”
He emphasised that engaging with industry peers at the event allows Egypt to share ideas, remain attuned to global sector developments, and highlight the country’s remarkable and diverse tourism experiences.
This year’s participation is aligned with the Ministry’s ongoing strategy to promote the full spectrum of Egypt’s tourism potential, he said.
The Egyptian pavilion shines a spotlight on the nation’s unique offerings, spanning world-famous historical attractions, vibrant culture, and scenic natural destinations that continue to enchant travellers from all corners of the globe.

A particular focus this year is placed on investment opportunities, especially within the hospitality sector, as well as on promoting the much-anticipated Grand Egyptian Museum, scheduled to open its doors officially on July 3.
Throughout the exhibition, the Minister is scheduled to meet with international partners and media representatives, strengthening cooperation and showcasing Egypt’s unique destinations, especially to visitors from the Arab world and GCC countries ahead of the summer season.
He is also scheduled to join the ATM Ministerial Summit and attend a workshop with Bahraini travel companies to foster bilateral ties.
Egypt’s 800-square-meter pavilion brings together 77 exhibitors, including hotels, travel companies, airlines, and the Red Sea Governorate, each presenting distinctive tourism offerings.
The pavilion drew strong interest on the opening day, with interactive activities and presentations highlighting Egypt’s wide array of attractions.
The pavilion features a special section showcasing replicas of some of the most remarkable artifacts of the golden king, Tutankhamun, most notably his iconic golden sarcophagus, funerary mask, shrine, and canopic jars, all discovered in his legendary tomb.
ATM 2025 is expected to welcome over 47,000 visitors, offering Egypt a valuable opportunity to share its warmth, heritage, and investment opportunities with the world.
