CAIRO- Egypt’s Prosecutor General Hamada El Sawy ordered a swift probe into the causes behind the derailment of Qalyub train which collided with the Qalyub station platform on Tuesday night, leaving a number of casualties.
A statement released by the General Prosecution said El Sawy ordered the formation of a team of investigators to uncover the details of the crash.
According to initial information the train that was heading for Menuf derailed and collided with the platform of Qalyub station, Qalubiya governorate in Lower Egypt.
