Jordanian Tourism Minister Nayef El Fayez asserted that Egypt’s success in organising the UN Climate Conference (COP27) is a big achievement for all Arab countries and the region, extending greetings to the Egyptian government and people on such great success.
In statements to MENA correspondent in Amman, Fayez said this big international event proves the high professionalism Egypt enjoys, adding that organising an international event of such importance is the first of its kind in the Middle East and Arab region.
He also highlighted the importance of recommendations issued by COP27 to counter and mitigate the negative impact of climate change.
On the Egyptian-Jordanian co-operation in the therapeutic tourism, the minister asserted that there are under way efforts between Cairo and Amman in this sector especially in light of the great potentials enjoyed by both countries.
He termed the Egyptian-Jordanian relations as “outstanding” especially those binding the two countries’ leaders, voicing hope over bolstering current co-operation between the official entities of both countries.
The minister also praised the expertise and current partnership between the two countries in the historic, religious and therapeutic tourism, reiterating the need for further beefing up existing co-operation so as to be reflected on the two countries’ peoples.
