Deputy Egyptian Minister of Education for Teachers Affairs Reda Hegazy announced that staffers at public, private or international schools would not be allowed into their workplace unless they receive a coronavirus vaccine.
His announcement came during a virtual meeting that he held with heads of educational directorates across the country to follow up on the vaccination rate for educators and school employees.
Hegazy lauded the rapid response of educational directorates to the political leadership’s directives on inoculating pre-university education staff before the start of the new school year.
