CAIRO – Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli reviewed preparations aiming at organizing the 2nd edition of the 2023 Africa Health EXCON.
The exhibition is held in June under the sponsorship of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
As many as 203 local and foreign companies are expected to participate in the fair including 20 sponsors while more than 4,000 people have registered to attend the exhibition.
This came during a meeting between Madbouli and Head of the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement Baha el Din Zidan to discuss a number of files.
During the meeting, Zidan reviewed the authority’s efforts to provide the needs of health sector from drugs and medical requirements in coordination with the authorities concerned.
He also discussed steps aiming at supporting and developing national industry in medical equipment field according to the international standards in order to reduce the pressure on foreign currency.
