CAIRO – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli on Friday received a report on citizens’ complaints registered with the Cabinet’s Ombudsman Office during the month of May.
The premier hailed the efforts of all officials at different government departments and bodies to solve citizens’ problems and resolve their complaints.
Director of the office Tareq el Refaei, who prepared the report, stated that some 85,000 complaints and pleas had been received during May, adding that 84,000 of them had been tackled.
About 62,500 grievances were referred to bodies concerned, while 21,500 others were shelved, Refaei said.
