CAIRO – Egyptian Planning Minister Hala el Saeed said that real wealth is in human capital, stressed the importance of investing in human resources.
Speaking on the occasion of the United Nations Public Service Day, which is marked on June 23, the minister thanked all her ministry’s staff and all employees at the State’s administrative apparatus, wishing them more success.
She expressed her ministry’s keenness on establishing a number of units that work to improve job performance and the work environment, citing the Equal Opportunities Unit that was recently formed.
The ministry is also working on spreading the culture of excellence by supervising the Egypt Award for Government Excellence.
The Egypt Award for Gov’t Excellence has recently announced the launch of the Government Excellence Award for Equal Opportunities and Empowerment of Women as a category of institutional excellence awards.
