Egypt’s Mufti Nazir Mohamed Ayyad extended Easter greetings to Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, and to all Christians on the occasion of Easter.
He expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to Pope Tawadros II and to all Christian citizens, praying that Allah may return the occasion on Egypt with further goodness and blessings, and reaffirming the strong bonds of fraternity and mutual affection among all Egyptians.
The Mufti said such occasions provide an opportunity to reaffirm the values of coexistence and national unity, praying that Allah protect Egypt, preserve its security and stability, and maintain the unity and cohesion of its people.
