Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defence and Military Production, Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, met on Monday with a number of officers and non-commissioned officers from the 2ndand 3rd Field Armies at the Ministry of Defence headquarters.
The meeting, which is part of a series of engagements aimed at unifying understanding of current developments and their implications for Egypt’s national security, was attended by Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces,Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, and commanders of the two armies.
As the meeting started, Minister Zaher conveyed greetings from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, lauding the dedication and sincere efforts of the troops in safeguarding the nation and preserving its resources.
Zaher held an open dialogue with personnel, listening to their views and responding to questions regarding the rapidly evolving regional situation. He stressed the importance of maintaining full awareness among Armed Forces members of all surrounding developments and changes.
The minister reaffirmed the Armed Forces General Command’s commitment to providing continuous support to all units and formations, ensuring the highest levels of efficiency and sustained combat readiness.
The minister also shared breakfast with the troops, reflecting the strong bonds of unity and cohesion between the leadership and members of the Armed Forces.
