CAIRO – Egyptian Local Development Minister Mahmod Shaarawy has stressed that the ministry is keen to train and qualify cadres of different development programs, topped by the development of the countryside under the presidential “Decent Life” initiative.
The minister’s remarks came during his meeting with Executive Director of the National Training Academy (NTA) Rasha Ragheb on Saturday at the ministry headquarters.
Shaarawy lauded good and fruitful cooperation and coordination between the ministry and the academy to train cadres and improve performance of all employees.
The training courses target civil servants and employees of municipalities nationwide, the minister said, adding that the ministry aims to train some 1,800 employees of municipalities under the state-funded different development programs.
Shaarawy and Ragheb also reviewed plans on coordination for organizing training courses, increasing cooperation and enhancing local development.
