Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Badr Abdelatty headed on Thursday for Luanda to chair the work of the Egyptian-Angolan Joint Committee aimed at strengthening cooperation and advancing the strategic partnership between the two countries.
During the committee’s sessions, Abdelatty is scheduled to hold a series of bilateral meetings with senior Angolan officials to explore opportunities for enhancing cooperation in economic, investment and development fields, expanding areas of partnership, exchanging perspectives on key regional and international issues and coordinating positions on matters of mutual interest.
These efforts are expected to reinforce the two countries’ role in supporting peace, stability and development across Africa and within international forums.
