Egypt’s First Lady Entisar El Sisi has called for entrenching the culture of peace and promoting the values of tolerance, co-existence and acceptance of the Other.
Those values are needed to build a secure and stable society, Mrs Sisi said in a post on her Facebook account Wednesday to mark the International Day of Peace, which falls on September 21.
Peace is the only option to achieve co-existence and serenity that are absent in many societies due to conflicts and wars, Mrs Sisi said.
“We all need to entrench the culture of peace and promote the values of tolerance, co-existence and acceptance of the Other in order to build a secure, stable and prosperous society at all levels,” she stressed.
