CAIRO – Egypt’s permanent representative to the United Nations Osama Abdel Khaleq has said the Arab group at the UN agreed to continue drumming up support for the Palestinians.
In statements to Al Qahera Al Ikhabaria news channel, he said the Arab group representatives held a meeting to discuss the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and agreed to continue support for the Palestinians.
He said an agreement was reached during the meeting to take procedural stance against the countries that do not respond positively to the Arab resolutions.
He said the group discussed a draft resolution sent to the Security Council to facilitate measures of delivering aid to the Palestinians.
