PARIS – Egypt’s embassy in France has reaffirmed its readiness to receive the Egyptian mission that will compete at the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Egypt’s ambassador in Paris Alaa Yousef told MENA on Thursday that at all necessary arrangements and procedures have been taken to receive the mission that will compete at the Olympic Games between July 26 and August 11 and the Paralympic Games from August 28 to September 8.
The embassy also coordinated with the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Egyptian Olympic Committee (IOC) and different relevant French authorities to provide Egyptian athletes with the necessary support and facilitations, the ambassador said.
Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi had ongoing contact with the diplomat to follow up on all preparations for receiving the mission and creating the best climate for the athletes to ensure outstanding performance at the games.
