Egypt’s Ambassador to Indonesia Ashraf Sultan received on Tuesday members of the Egyptian Kung Fu team participating in the World Junion Wushu Championships (WJWC), due to be held here on December 2 to 11 with the participation of teams from more than 60 countries.

Egypt’s Kung FU team comprises 18 male and female players who will compete against 800 world players.

On December 5, Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officially opened the 8th Wushu Junior World Championship (WJWC) 2022 in the presence of Head of Indonesia Kung Fu Federation Airlangga Hartarto, Director of WJWC and Head of the Jury Committee Sherif Mostafa as well as the Egyptian ambassador in Jakarata.

The eighth edition of the WJWC will take place at ICE Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD), Tangerang, Banten, from December 5 to 11 2022. This championship will be attended by 800 participants from 60 countries and two regions.
