CAIRO – Egyptian Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman Khaled Rady lauded strong ties between Cairo and Muscat, stressing the two countries’ leadership to consolidate relations at the political, military, economic, social and cultural levels.
Rady made the remarks during a celebration held to mark the 72nd anniversary of the July 23 Revolution, in the presence of Omani Trade and Industry Minister Qais bin Mohammed bin Moosa Al Yousef as a guest of honor, along with a number of Omani diplomats and officials, according to a statement released by the Foreign Ministry on Thursday.
The ambassador conveyed President Sisi’s greetings to the Omani government and people, as well as members of the Egyptian community in the Sultanate of Oman.
Rady expressed his sincere condolences over the killing of a number of Omani citizens, including a police man, in the shooting attack that took place in Muscat’s al-Wadi al-Kabir area, demonstrating Egypt’s solidarity with the Sultanate of Oman in this critical time.
The ambassador underlined the necessity of strengthening ties between the two countries in various areas, notably the investment and trade ones.
