Egypt’s ambassador to New Zealand Dina Al Seihi has reviewed the priorities of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP27) which will be held under Egypt’s chairmanship in November.
This came during a meeting organised by the Egyptian embassy in New Zealand with the participation of ambassadors of the Pacific Ocean islands within the framework of Egypt’s presidency of the conference.
The diplomat highlighted Egypt’s focus on the issues of climate adaption and finding funding solutions for countries affected by the climate change negative impacts.
Al Seihi also shed light on the initiatives that would be launched by Egypt during the conference.
Meanwhile, the ambassadors taking part in the meeting extended thanks to Egypt over its great regional efforts ahead of the conference as well as coordination with all relevant parties.
