PARIS – Egypt’s Ambassador to France Alaa Youssef emphasised the importance of actively participating in the upcoming presidential elections.
He further said that taking part in the polls is considered a constitutional entitlement.
The ambassador also voiced confidence that the Egyptian voters will assume this responsibility, especially that the election is considered a democratic process that paves the way for shaping the future of the nation.
The ambassador’s remarks were made during his meeting with several members of the Egyptian Community in France to discuss the necessary preparations for holding the presidential elections for the Egyptian expatriates on December 1 through 3.
A the beginning of the meeting, the ambassador welcomed the attendees and affirmed that the Embassy will resume its efforts to serve the nation and the Egyptian community in France.
All the embassies maintain neutrality toward all presidential candidates, he said, affirming the importance of rendering such electoral process a success.
