CAIRO – Egyptian Ambassador in Warsaw Hatem Tageldin commended the significant progress in political, economic and cultural ties between Egypt and Poland over the past years.
Tageldin made the comments during a celebration held to mark the 72nd anniversary of the July 23 Revolution, in the presence of a galaxy of senior Polish officials, notably the deputy speaker of the Parliament of Poland, the Polish deputy foreign minister, and the chairman of Poland’s side in the Egyptian-Polish Parliamentary Friendship Group, according to a statement released by the Foreign Ministry on Thursday.
The statement stated that Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Andrzej Szejna praised the Egyptian ambassador’s efforts during his term that is about to end.
Szejna also paid tribute to the development in Polish-Egyptian relations in the past period, citing the recent visit of Polish President Andrzej Duda to Egypt, which reflected positively on the political and economic co-operation between the two countries.
