The talks tackled means of furthering bilateral ties in various fields, especially economic, commercial, and investment sectors.
Abdelatty praised the Emirati investment flows into Egypt, particularly the project to develop the Ras Al-Hikma area and the Red Sea, noting that these projects represent a qualitative leap in economic partnership between the two sides.
He affirmed the aspiration to strengthen these relations in the fields of energy, logistics, industry, and digitalization, taking advantage of the favorable investment climate in Egypt.
Both ministers expressed their satisfaction with the regular meetings of the joint economic committee, considering it one of the main institutional frameworks to promote economic cooperation.
Abdelatty clarified that the Egyptian government continues to implement a comprehensive package of ambitious economic reforms to enhance the role of the private sector, improve the investment climate, and offer tax and customs facilities within the framework of the National Investment Strategy 2024–2030.
Regarding regional issues, the developments in the occupied Palestinian territories topped the discussions, with the two ministers agreeing on the need to put an end to the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza due to Israeli actions.

The ministers also strongly condemned the blatant Israeli aggression targeting the capital of Qatar, Doha, expressing their full solidarity with Qatar, its leadership, government, and people.
They regarded this attack as a highly dangerous escalation that cannot be accepted under any justification and as a direct violation of the security of Qatar that is an inseparable part of Arab national security, firmly rejecting any aggression on the sovereignty of Arab countries.
The two ministers discussed the situation in Sudan and efforts to resolve the crisis, with Minister Abdelatty stressing the importance of stopping the fighting, enforcing a ceasefire, and ensuring the delivery of aid to all the Sudanese people.
At the end of the meeting, the ministers emphasized the two countries’ commitment to continuous coordination and consultation at the highest levels and active engagement in facing shared challenges, contributing to preserving Arab national security and strengthening regional stability.
