The joint Egyptian–Saudi naval drill “Red Wave 8” commenced on Tuesday and will run for several days in Saudi Arabia, with the participation of naval forces from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Sudan, Yemen and Djibouti.
The exercise includes a series of theoretical and practical sessions aimed reinforcing joint action among participating forces.
It involves joint planning for naval operations and training to counter unconventional maritime threats, thereby enhancing skills and promoting the exchange of expertise among the participating navies.
The training is conducted within the framework of the Armed Forces joint exercise plan with sisterly and friendly countries, with the aim of enhancing military cooperation in various domains.
