CAIRO – Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his Indonesian counterpart signed a memorandum of understanding to set up a joint committee.
This was announced by Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Hafez on his Twitter account on Friday.
Earlier, the two ministers had a session of talks on bilateral ties and a host of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
On Sunday, Shoukry embarked on an Asian tour that includes stops in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesian and Pakistan.
During his visit to Pakistan, Shoukry is scheduled to participate in the 48th session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers, set for March 22 and 23.
