Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held a phone call on Tuesday with Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis as part of their regular consultations. The two ministers reviewed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and exchanged views on regional developments.
Both sides praised the depth of Egypt-Greece relations and welcomed the steady progress, especially after elevating ties to the level of a strategic partnership.
The call also covered key regional issues, including U.S.–Iran negotiations, developments in Libya, and the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean. The ministers agreed to continue close coordination and consultation within the framework of their strategic partnership, supporting efforts to enhance security and stability in the region.
