CAIRO – Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Friday left for Germany to participate in the Munich Security Conference (MSC).
In statements, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Hafez said Shoukry will participate as a keynote speaker in a session on strengthening international climate diplomacy as the president-designate of the UN Climate Change Conference 2022 (UNFCCC COP 27).
On the sidelines of the conference, the minister will hold meetings with senior officials and foreign ministers to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and consultations on issues of mutual interest, the spokesman added.
