MUSCAT – Egyptian Ambassador in Muscat Khaled Rady has hailed relations binding Egypt and the Sultanate of Oman, describing them as bilateral, strong and distinguished.
The relations between the two countries are an example to follow in Arab-Arab relations, he said in statements to the Middle East News Agency Monday.
The envoy said President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s visit to Oman and Sultan Haitham bin Tareq’s visit to Egypt, as well as visits exchanged by the two countries’ officials, gave an impetus to Egyptian-Omani relations.
He pointed out to the participation of Egyptian companies, topped the Arab Contractors, in the development process in Oman, saying the Arab Contractors was tasked with launching mega projects in the Sultanate, especially in the fields of dams and ports.
He said the urban development process Egypt is witnessing now drew the attention of regional countries to conclude partnerships and cooperation deals in the development fields to make use of Egyptian expertise in the construction domains.
