Egyptian embassies and consulates around the world have completed all necessary preparations to welcome expatriate voters for the 2025 Senate elections, in accordance with recent directives issued by the National Elections Authority (NEA).
Voting for Egyptians abroad is scheduled to take place over two days starting tomorrow. Polling stations at Egyptian diplomatic missions will operate from 9:00am to 9:00pm local time in each country.
To facilitate voter participation, embassies and consulates have published the NEA’s official decision regarding election procedures on their websites and social media platforms, providing detailed instructions for expatriates on how to cast their votes.
Most diplomatic missions have also announced the locations of their sub-election committees, which will be based within embassy or consulate premises.
Egyptians residing abroad have been urged to fulfill their national duty by participating in the vote. Voters are required to present either a valid national ID card or an electronic passport to verify their registration and eligibility.
