Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry had a session of talks with his Cypriot counterpart Constantinos Kombos, who is currently visiting Cairo.
Posting on his “X” account, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said that these intensive discussions fall within the framework of the strategic relations between Egypt and Cyprus, and aim at exchanging visions on developments in the war in Gaza and means to achieve a ceasefire and contain the humanitarian catastrophe.
The two sides are scheduled to hold a joint press conference following their plenary talks, the spokesman added.
