CAIRO – Egyptian Supreme Administrative Court has upheld a ruling to authorise the supply minister to close violating bakeries and transfer their wheat shares to other bakeries without paying compensation to violators.
A bakery owner challenged the Alexandria court ruling which dismissed the lawsuit filed by him.
The bakery owner filed the lawsuit, requesting EGP 130,000 worth of compensation after his bakery was closed for producing low-quality bread, MENA reported.
