Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said Egyptian-Bahraini ties are a model for the well-established strategic partnership based on a unified vision and sincere political will that drive further cooperation to achieve sustainable development.
Abdel Ghaffar made the remarks in a speech that he delivered on behalf of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, on the occasion of Bahrain’s National Day and the 26th anniversary of King Hamad bin Isa AL Khalifa’s accession to the throne.
The minister highlighted the depth of historical relations between Egypt and Bahrain, which have seen a significant development in various areas over recent decades, thanks to close bonds and convergence of visions between the two countries’ wise leaderships.
He expressed Egypt’s pride in its fruitful collaboration with Bahrain in vital areas such as economic development, the exchange of expertise, the empowerment of human cadres, and the expansion of partnerships in developmental, educational, and social programs, in a manner that supports comprehensive development in both countries.
The minister also commended the strong fraternal ties between President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, stressing that these relations have played a major role in strengthening bilateral ties and enhancing regional stability.
Abdel Ghaffar further lauded Bahrain’s sincere efforts in backing shared Arab causes, particularly the Palestinian cause, as well as its active part in promoting joint Arab action and advancing security and stability.
He concluded by renewing his sincere congratulations to Bahrain’s leadership, government, and people on this occasion, wishing more security, stability, and prosperity for the Gulf country.
