BEIRUT – Egyptian Ambassador in Beirut Alaa Moussa emphasised that there are presidential directives about following up on conditions of all Egyptian nationals in Lebanon to offer necessary services to them.

Moussa said in statements to Nile News channel on Wednesday “we are closely following up on conditions of the Egyptians in Lebanon.”

He said efforts are focused on maintaining communication with the Egyptian community whether directly or through representatives of the community or via Lebanese bodies.

The Egyptian diplomat added that no Egyptians were among the victims of the Israeli aggression on the Lebanese lands.

The Egyptian community is safe and no deaths were reported as well, the embassy said.

Moussa called on Egyptian citizens who want to come back home to communicate with the embassy to get the necessary support and assistance.
