CAIRO – Egyptian and African businessmen discussed encouraging industry in Africa via technology, scientific research and adding value to the crude materials in Africa in the presence of Immigration Minister Nabila Makram.

This came during a session held on Egyptian entrepreneurs abroad and African entrepreneurs and achieving sustainable development as part of the activities of “Egypt Can with Industry” conference held in the New Administrative Capital under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

The African entrepreneurs reviewed their success stories which they achieved inside or outside their countries.

Meanwhile, Makram asserted that President Sisi pays great attention to localising industry and boosting co-operation with the African continent.

She said that the session is one of the most important ones of the event, adding that manufacturing in Africa is the solution.

Makram added that a plan will be put by the ministry in co-operation with the ministries and institutions concerned to boost economic co-operation with the African continent especially in the industrial field.
