EgyptAir Training Academy to hold training course on carbon emissions next month

A team from the EgyptAir Training Academy has promoted for a training course entitled “carbon offsetting and reduction scheme for international aviation” (CORSIA). The course will be held next month in co-operation with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

The move came as the national air carrier is taking part in in the United Nations COP27 climate conference in Sharm El-Sheikh, which ends its activities today.
The training course deals with follow-up, monitoring and reporting on carbon emissions resulting from aircraft engines.
