In a landmark achievement for regional aviation, the EgyptAir Training Academy has successfully passed the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) inspection for the 20th consecutive year.
The audit, which focused on the academy’s technical training programmes for aircraft maintenance engineers and technicians, concluded with zero findings.
This milestone underscores the institution’s enduring status as a centre of excellence, maintaining a perfect track record of compliance with rigorous international mandates.
Chairman and Managing Director of EgyptAir Holding Company Captain Ahmed Adel extended his congratulations to the academy’s leadership and staff, noting that this success is a pivotal addition to the company’s history.
He emphasised that the flawless inspection reflects a deep-seated commitment to the highest international safety and quality standards. According to Captain Adel, the academy’s high level of operational readiness and efficiency is a cornerstone of EgyptAir’s broader strategy to enhance its competitive edge and expand its footprint across both regional and international markets.

Echoing this sentiment, Head of the EgyptAir Training Academy Captain Walid Soliman expressed his gratitude for the dedicated efforts of the academy’s team.
He specifically highlighted the contributions of the General Department of Quality and the General Department of Technical Training, whose meticulous preparation ensured the continuation of this two-decade success streak. Captain Soliman affirmed that this achievement reinforces the academy’s reputation as a reliable and elite training hub for the global aviation industry.
The EASA inspection team provided high praise for the academy’s senior management and its proactive investment in the future of aviation.
The inspectors highlighted the recent integration of advanced aircraft models, such as the Airbus A350 and Boeing B737 MAX, into the academy’s training curriculum.
Furthermore, the agency commended the use of amazing equipment and the professional caliber of the instructors, concluding that the academy’s robust quality assurance system remains one of the most effective in the industry.
