Chairman of EgyptAir Pilot Amr Aboul-Enein participated in the activities of the first environmental summit for humanitarian aviation currently being held in Egypt, organized by the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) with the participation of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
Aboul-Enein confirmed that EgyptAir’s participation comes as part of its belief in improving the environment and sustainable development as EgyptAir was honored by being the first air carrier in Africa to operate a flight with environmentally friendly products and services.
During the summit, Karim Jamil, Director of Mitigation and Emissions Equation Department of EgyptAir, reviewed the achievements and strategy of the holding company in the field of sustainable development.
