EgyptAir operated its first-ever international flight, MS3910, from Sphinx International Airport to Spain on Wednesday.
The Airbus A320neo ferried board members of the Unión Deportiva Almería, who had arrived from Abu Simbel International Airport to Cairo to visit the Giza Plateau and other tourist attractions in the Egyptian capital, EgyptAir said in a statement Wednesday.
The flight was operated after renovation work concluded at Sphinx International Airport in November. The renovated airport could now accommodate up to 1.2 million passengers annually.
