EgyptAir made its debut with a special pavilion at the BIT Milano International Tourism and Travel Fair, held this year alongside the 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
The pavilion attracted significant attention from visitors, tour operators, and travel companies from around the world.
The pavilion was also visited by Walid Osman, Egypt’s Consul General in Milan.
EgyptAir’s participation, attended by Salah Tawfiq, the Regional Manager for Italy, and Amr Farouq, Milan Office Manager, included key meetings with travel agents, marketing companies, specialised publications, and social media influencers, reflecting the airline’s expanding regional marketing strategy.
This year’s BIT Milano exhibition is among the largest editions, hosting over 1,000 exhibitors and 6,000 visitors from across the globe.
EgyptAir’s participation coincided with the delivery of its first Airbus A350-900 aircraft, the first of 16 planes to be received under the airline’s latest acquisition program.
As part of its Italian market expansion, EgyptAir announced the launch of its flights to Venice from June 29, 2026, operating twice weekly.
The airline also plans to operate 17 weekly flights to and from Milan and 14 weekly flights to and from Rome during the summer 2026 season, further enhancing connectivity between Egypt and Italy.
