EgyptAir will start launching direct flights between Cairo and Tokyo on September 28, Board Chairman of the EgyptAir Holding Company Engineer Yehia Zakaria has said.
EgyptAir has recently launched new routes in Asia, Europe and North America, the latest of which was a direct flight to India’s capital New Delhi in August 2023, Zakaria added .
Direct flights to Tokyo will serve a large sector of customers in view of the strong ties between the two countries’ peoples, adding that the flights will operate twice a week with the carrier’s Boeing B787-9 aircraft with a capacity of 309 seats, he noted.
Cairo International Airport and Tokyo Narita twice weekly. It offers various fares, with economy and business class available on the route.
Meanwhile, Board Chairman of EgyptAir Captain Mohamed Moussa said the new route would witness a high turnout and could contribute to boosting trade and the cultural and tourism movement between the two countries.
