Board Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company Amr Abul Enein said the participation of the national carrier at a forum on aviation safety in Kenya this week aimed to transfer experience to African countries.
Such participation is also part of the Civil Aviation Ministry’s plan to share EgyptAir’s expertise and efforts on environment and sustainable development with African countries in aviation-related domains.
EgyptAir was invited to this event in recognition of the national carrier’s efforts on environment and sustainable development over the past two years, he added.
During the forum, EgyptAir shed light on Egypt’s preparations for hosting the UN Climate Change Conference (COP27) in November to help African countries counter the negative impacts of the climate change.
