Egypt’s Minister of Military Production Mohamed Salaheddin Moustafa has hailed as “strong” relations between Egypt and Zambia.
Moustafa, in a meeting with visiting Zambian Minister of Technology and Science Felix Mutati Monday, reviewed technological, manufacture and technical potentials of Military Production companies and units.
He added that his Ministry is willing to share all its potentials and expertise in all fields with Zambia.
For his part, Mutati said Egypt was able, over the past few years, to extend “strong bridges of trust and rapprochement” with Zambia, which he called “the heart of southern Africa”.
Lusaka is keen on boosting economic cooperation with Cairo in the coming stage, he stressed.
Mutati told Moustafa that many Zambian firms are seeking to enhance economic, investment and trade partnerships with Egyptian counterparts, atop of which those affiliated with the Ministry of Military Production.
