Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty Tuesday telephoned his Vietnamese counterpart Bui Thanh Son, who has recently been appointed as deputy prime minister of Vietnam.
Abdelatty congratulated Son on his new post, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Tamim Khallaf.
The Egyptian top diplomat hailed as “deep” and “historical” relations between Cairo and Hanoi, Khallaf said.
Abdelatty told Son he is looking forward to further boosting cooperation with Vietnam at the political, economic, trade and tourism levels, the spokesman added. (MENA)
