Egyptian Petroleum Minister Tarek el Moulla discussed on Wednesday with US Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, US Senior Advisor for Global Energy Security Amos Hochstein and British Minister of State at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Greg Hands means of co-operating with Egypt to secure part of energy supplies and preparations for the COP 27 to be held in Egypt.
This came on the sidelines of the CERAWeek energy conference held in the US.
During the meetings, Moulla reviewed co-operation and coordination in the fields of petroleum and the natural gas industry field as well as co-operation under the umbrella of the East Mediterranean Gas Forum to secure part of energy supplies.
While Granholm said the meeting reviewed the latest developments concerning the strategic co-operation between the two countries in the field of energy.
Also, Hochstein said the meeting witnessed reviewing Egypt’s successful experience in developing natural gas fields.
