CAIRO – State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Morsi attended on Tuesday the signing ceremony of a co-operation protocol between Abu Zaabal Company for Specialty Chemicals (Factory 18) and US company “Nalco Water”.

Under the protocol, the two sides will boost co-operation in the field of water treatment using “biuret”, a white solid material soluble in hot water.

Following the signing ceremony, the minister underlined that Abu Zaabal company manufactures and supplies raw chemical materials, including sodium chlorate and hydrogen peroxide that are used in the production of “biuret” material.

This co-operation protocol came in line with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives to integrate the water treatment strategy with the State’s policy for the management and optimisation of the available water resources.
